Queer Women in Business Meet Up

Join We Create Space at Bērytī for an informal meet-up to forge intergenerational support networks between Queer Women in Barcelona

This group is aimed at anyone who identifies as a Queer Woman, femme or who is impacted by being perceived/socialised as a woman in society and would benefit from making new connections in the city - discussing topics, finding support, learning about other experiences, mentorship and acquiring potential tools for personal and professional growth.

When we look at the state of the world today—the divisions deepened by politics, the laws being passed that exclude members of our community, and the ways we’re often pitted against each other—it feels more urgent than ever to come together and reclaim sorority. Through storytelling, we can remind ourselves (and each other) of the strength we hold when we lead with empathy, care, and collective memory.

In this special edition, we’ll focus on the power of sorority and storytelling—how shared experiences can build bridges across generations, industries, and identities. Through guided conversations and collective reflection, we’ll explore how telling our stories can be an act of healing, resistance, and community-building.

This is an open forum. If you have a story to tell, a poem to share, or a song in your heart—you’re invited to step forward. We'll be holding space for an open mic during the evening for spontaneous or prepared contributions in whatever format you feel most aligned with. You can also reach out to us ahead of time if you’d like to share something specific or need support.

Whether you're new to the city or deeply rooted, this is a chance to show up as you are and be part of a nurturing circle of queer sisterhood.

19:10: Conversation starter: an intro by our WCS moderators & guest speakers for the evening

19:30 – 20:15: Small group storytelling circles

20:15 – 20:55: Whole group reflection + open mic for live storytelling, poetry, and shared experiences

21:00 onward – Open social + networking
