They are currently based in Barcelona, after a 5 year stay in New York City where they pursued a BFA in Illustration and a BA in Cultural & Media Studies, focusing on understanding and exploring how Gender, Racial Identity, and Disability are socially constructed. Combining their theoretical interests with their art and design practice, the majority of Hannah’s visual and written work touches on sociopolitical themes, specifically chronic illness and disability, cultural and gender identity, and the bodymind, through their lived and learnt experiences. (they/them) Jasmine Jaz is a mixed-Pakistani, non-binary, bisexual mental health expert, public speaker, and journalist. They're particularly focused on how intersecting areas of inequality can impact people's access to mental well-being and how queerness collides with South Asian culture. Currently, Jaz is a lecturer in Gender & Sexuality as well as Diversity in Creative Industries at Bimm University in Birmingham, and they hold the position of Editor-In-Chief for a local creative media outlet called Birmingham Review. Jaz creates and facilitates tailored mental health talks and workshops, which are informed by their practical and personal experience of mental health and mental illness, as well as their MSc which covered the philosophy of mental health and cognitive neuroscience. They are passionate about advocating for anti-racism and intersectionality and have extensive knowledge of LGBTQ+ history and discrimination. She’s curious to have the conversations many shy away from, with a nuanced perspective that holds inclusion and sex positivity at the very core. Their work is influenced by her experiences as a queer, non-monogamous, dual-heritage person. Ruby comes from a background of working directly with young people and marginalised groups, delivering relationship and sex education (RSE) across the country. In 2020 her debut book Sex Ed: A Guide for Adults was published by Bloomsbury, and in 2022 her podcast docu-series In Touch was released, which explores the ways we connect to sex, relationships, and our bodies with nuance and curiosity.
