Ahmed
Ahmed is an Emmy-nominated journalist, producer and storyteller who is currently working with the BBC. Before that he was a Senior Correspondent with AJ+ and has previously worked for VICE on HBO, Al Jazeera English, The New York Times, The Huffington Post and PBS, and may be best known for creating and co-hosting “The Stream,” an award-winning interactive talk show on AJE and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Most Innovative Program in 2012. In 2012, Ahmed was featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list of ‘young disruptors, innovators and media entrepreneurs impatient to change the world’. And in 2015 and 2016, he was featured on the Arabian Business power list of the planet’s 100 most influential young Arabs. Ahmed is passionate about telling stories that connect people across boundaries and borders that separate them. Ahmed published his first book, 'Demanding Dignity’, in 2013.
