Marty
Marty Davies is a proud attention-seeker. She is an award-winning creative strategist, campaigner, writer, advertising industry thought-leader and changemaker. An expert at the point where LGBTQIA+ history and culture and the creative industries and attention economy meet. They are Campaign’s first transgender columnist and have written extensively on the state of queer representation in advertising - shortlisted for columnist of the year. Marty led Outvertising’s call for brands to stand their ground during Pride month in 2023 and gained a commitment from the top 10 media agencies (representing £6.9Bn.) to divest adspend from misinformation in the media. They are the founder of creative strategy consultancy Smarty Pants Consultancy and the founder of Trans+ History Week CIC - a new globally recognised week in the calendar to celebrate the momentous and millennia old history of trans+ people. They were named on both the DIVA Power List and Pride Power List in 2024 and were named one of PinkNews’ 21 global activists of 2023.
