Sanjukta is a M&E and DEI consultant for the social impact sector, and a queer woman from South India. Over the past decade, her work has supported women’s organisations, participatory funders, human rights groups, UN agencies, and NGOs to become more community-led and localised. She is Founder and Director of The SMC Group, which mainstreams participatory and decolonial approaches in the social impact sector. Her work revolutionises and shifts power in PMEL (Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) and JEDI+ (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion). Sanjukta has also worked as an activist, journalist, and tailor.
