Taofique

Taofique is a multi-talented individual, who has dedicated himself to various fields, including acting, fitness coaching, and LGBTQ+ activism, writing and performing. With over 20 years of experience on stage and screen, he is passionate about increasing visibility and representation of black queer men in the media industry. As a former board member of Impulse London, Taofique has created sexual health and mental wellbeing programs for gay men, particularly those living with HIV, in the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) community. Taofique is also a Barry's Bootcamp coach, with over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. His community work has earned him the title of Men’s Health best coach of 2020. He has collaborated with various organizations such as 56 Dean Street, Gilead Sciences, Pink News, and Aids Health Care Foundation, and is currently the wellbeing and fitness contributor for Gay London Life Magazine. Taofique discusses intersectional identities, stigma, wellness, and body-image from a Black queer and Positive perspective. Additionally, he is currently completing his MSc in Psychology.
