Yasmin
Yasmin, a British model, asexual activist, writer, and speaker, is a leading voice for the asexual community. After coming out publicly in 2017, she quickly gained recognition as the "unlikely face of asexuality" by Cosmopolitan Magazine. Yasmin founded the #ThisIsWhatAsexualLooksLike movement to increase diverse asexual visibility and representation and co-founded International Asexuality Day on April 6. Her unconventional approach to activism has been covered by various British and international media outlets, including Vogue, MTV, Sky News, Paper Magazine, Attitude Magazine, and the BBC. In 2022, she collaborated with Stonewall to launch the Stonewall x Yasmin Benoit Ace Project, the UK's first asexual rights initiative. Yasmin's tireless work as an asexual activist earned her the 'Campaigner of the Year' award at the Rainbow Honours Awards. She is available to speak on topics such as asexuality, diversity and representation in media, and LGBTQ+ activism.
